Exercise to manage your pain

I have provided you with what I will hope will be a helpful PDF on building activity into your everyday life. As I explain to patients in clinic, there are always 4 steps to solving any injury:

  1.       An accurate diagnosis
  2.       A clear management plan to improve your recovery
  3.       Exercises specific to your injury
  4.       Feedback loop to make sure all of that works.

If you are in pain, getting an accurate diagnosis is always the first step, and ongoing exercise can often be helpful in both reducing your symptoms and preventing their return. The PDF is just to give you some general advice on building activity into your everyday life for the pain associated with muscle joint, ligament, and tendon change.
